Janine is a journalist and producer with strong experience in the field of documentary and news-production. Over the past three years she worked as editor-in-chief of “Special Report”, a highly-rated investigative current affairs programme (Antenna TV). As a member of the Mediterranean Institute for Investigative Reporting since 2019 she has contributed to a number of cross-border investigations. She has also worked as a producer for international news outlets (Channel 4 News, BBC Radio), as well as various documentary productions (ARTE, National Geographic, SmallPlanet, Anemon). In the past she has held the position of editor-in-chief for programmes “Horizon” & “War Zone” (Mega TV), editor for FortuneGreece, and assistant producer at “Reportage Without Frontiers” (ERT), and has conducted filming assignments around the world. In 2018 she participated at Columbia Journalism School’s intensive “Summer Investigative Reporting Course”. She holds a Bachelor and MA degree from the University of Athens.
